Playdate in a Dungeon

This is a short film I directed and edited at the end of my last semester with a group of friends. We all wrote and shot it together. I did all of the editing. So far, it has been accepted at the Miami Mindie awards, Central Florida Film Festival, jellyFEST, the Prince of Prestige Academy Awards, Orlando Edge Film Festival, and Palm Beaches Student Showcase of Films.

Murder Birder

This is a video I made as a parody to Legal Eagle, a popular YouTube channel. I recreated everything based on his videos and animated them in Adobe After Effects. I’m really proud of the attention to detail I put into the graphics you’ll see here. Nothing was pre-built, I made it all from scratch. Check out the specific video that inspired my version here: Real Lawyer Reacts to It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

The Idiot & The Tree Rat

I made this film over a week in the spring of 2018 for Campus Movie Fest. This was made with a crew of just my friend Chris Petow and myself. I placed in the top 16 and was awarded best production design.

California Girls Typography

I made this for an After Effects assignment. We were tasked with making a typography video, so I decided to make a music video out of it. This was also a great excuse to learn how to use Google Earth Studio. If you work for Google and you’re reading this, mind getting rid of the attribution on the bottom right? Thanks.

takeout

An assignment I made in class late one night with some friends. The challenge was to shoot at night without anything but diegetic lights and sunlight.

People Of The Swamp

I made this the year before, in the spring of 2017. Again, it was for Campus Movie Fest and I had one week. While I didn’t place, I’m really proud of my costumes and props.

Little Talks

This was my first Campus Movie Fest submission from the spring of 2016, my freshman year. It’s really hard to watch now because I made so many mistakes and had no idea how to light a scene. But I’m proud of the writing, and managed to place with this.

Wild and Scenic: The Wekiva River

This is a documentary my friend, Cameron Tuech, and I spent weeks working on in the fall of our senior year in high school. It was intended for the C-SPAN Student Documentary competition. We took this very seriously and it is by far the thing I’m most proud of from high school. We placed second in our region, putting us somewhere in the top 20 of over 2,300 submissions. We won money for our school and teacher, got a big check for ourselves, the mayor wrote us letters, and we were in the paper. It was pretty fuckin’ great. We used our cheap DSLR and that was all we had, and somehow it looks better than most of the stuff I’ve made years later. C’est la vie. Here’s the article.

A Snickers Joke

This is a dumb little joke I made in high school. Still makes me smile.

Sever Weather PSA - Rip Tides

My friend Cameron and I entered a PSA contest for high schoolers our sophomore year. The top three were picked by the FDEM and from there the winner was chosen by Facebook likes. I’m still salty over it. Here’s the results.
