Hi there, my name is Tate Hawver. I’m a filmmaker.

Currently, I am the Assistant Director of Content and Game Presentation at Drexel University. This means I produce content for the video boards at our venues and run them during the games.

I studied at the University of Florida and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication with an emphasis on Digital Film & TV Production.

In college, I worked on commissioned work, commercials, student films, professional sports features, and more as well as my own projects. I paid my rent as a broadcast camera operator for sporting events. I also worked freelance as a cam op, editor, grip, utility, and PA.

I’m currently working on a documentary.
